Welcome to Light The Bridge
We here at Light The Bridge are dedicated to raising money for the local Food Bank Network.
We think we can persuade a few large corporations to
redirect some of the money they spend promoting their brand name, to supporting our cause.
In exchange for helping less fortunate people in our local community, where these corporations do business, we want to publicly recognize their contributions.
There are two reasons for this.
- Corporations that foot the bill, deserve recognition.
- A permanent, physical memorial will keep the issue of hunger in America before the public, as a reminder of both corporate support and the continuing need for help.
We have chosen, for this project, our local area casino’s; Harrah’s, Harrah’s Horseshoe
and Ameristar as our donating corporations and the Union Pacific Railroad bridge,
that crosses the Missouri River, as our symbol of new-
